Time Specifications:

This exciting project will go over the period of two weeks with 4 lessons.

Lesson 1 and 2: Will cover points 4, 6, and 7 (which come under the heading: Description of activity). This will mean that all rehearsals will be in our class, and so planning should be done outside of class, and information should be brought in/as well as your stimulus, and ideas that you have incorporated within the blogs. This is a collaborative project, so everyone needs to be involved equally- I will be looking for a variety of means for creating your piece: collaborative discussion: (Through means of writing on eachothers blog), learning through teaching (with your parents).

(Therefore: 1, 2, 3, 5 you must do with your groups).

Lesson 3: Will be your dress rehearsal: I will come around to make sure that everyone is staying on task, and get your web blog addresses, but I will not help you in completing the performance. From here, I can find out who has been working productively.

Lesson 4: This will be the time of your performance. You must be on your best behaviour and bring along all props, costume, and your original stimulus piecvce.

If you have any questions or issues: please leave a message on this webblog, or come in to my office anytime.

Best of luck, can wait to see what you guys come up with, and how you came up with it!

Lesson 3

Welcome Yr 10 Drama!!

Welcome to the students and parents to our Yr 10 Drama blog page!

Here we have the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions and collaborate within our learning experience! Please feel free to leave a comment with your questions and ideas!

I will be posting all class work in relation to your group assessments about playbuilding right here, so keep yourselves up-dated and informed as you continue with your task.

Description of activity

Students work collaboratively to build a play using a photograph or visual image of a group of people as a stimulus.

Each group will need to start their own group blog where all members have access so you can share your ideas and map out the process of the assessment.

Each student and parent also needs their own individual blog page here at wordpress where you will keep your personal journal (or log book). This will high-light your personal ideas, feelings about the process, insights into your character and your overall growth throughout the coming term.

I look forward to working with you all!
